PETER HYND

Peter Hynd and many of his family were buried in Troon Cemetery. His Son in Law, John Ritchie the well known Christian publisher in Kilmarnock, is also buried there too.

Janet Rae Hynd died 30^th December 1891  aged 4 years

Also John Watson father of Christina Watson died 11t^th November 1893 aged 72 years

Janet Rae wife of the above died 20^th December1900. aged 81 years

The above Peter Hynd 1904 aged 54 years

Alexander Hynd MA son of the above 26^th November 1909  aged 26

Isabella Fisher Hynd daughter of above and wife of  Dr Armstrong Harris London  died 27^th

 March 1928 aged 34 years

John Hynd son of the above died in Africa 10^th February 1929 aged 56

Christina Watson wife of the above Peter Hynd who died at Toronto in Canada 23^th February 1933 aged 81 years

who was drowned while bathing in

South Africa, March 20^th 1919

and is buried in Benghi cemetery

John Ritchie

Publisher, Kilmarnock

And passed to his rest on

March 15^th 1930 aged 75 years

And Elizabeth

Youngest daughter of the above John Ritchie

And wife of Duncan McCulloch
