PETER HYND
Peter Hynd and many of his family were buried in Troon Cemetery. His Son in Law, John Ritchie the well known Christian publisher in Kilmarnock, is also buried there too.

Erected by Peter Hynd and Christina Watson In memory of their children Thomas Felix Hynd died 30th October1891 aged 20 Janet Rae Hynd died 30th December 1891 aged 4 years Also John Watson father of Christina Watson died 11tth November 1893 aged 72 years Janet Rae wife of the above died 20th December1900. aged 81 years The above Peter Hynd 1904 aged 54 years Alexander Hynd MA son of the above 26th November 1909 aged 26 Isabella Fisher Hynd daughter of above and wife of Dr Armstrong Harris London died 27th March 1928 aged 34 years John Hynd son of the above died in Africa 10th February 1929 aged 56 Christina Watson wife of the above Peter Hynd who died at Toronto in Canada 23th February 1933 aged 81 years
